Associate Attorney


Chelsey is our Associate Attorney who practices criminal defense and has focused her career on Constitutional Law issues, firearms and drug offenses, therapeutic jurisprudence and juvenile delinquency, and post-convictions motions. She graduated from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 2018 and was sworn in to the Maryland Bar in December 2018. She
received her Bachelors Degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from Shippensburg University in 2014.

While attending UB Law, Chelsey volunteered her first-year as a tutor for the Truancy Court Program through the Center for Families, Children, and the Courts, and stayed as a student fellow where she learned concepts of therapeutic jurisprudence and received extensive training and experience in childhood trauma and effects on brain development.

As a law clerk at the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s office in the Evidence Review Unit, she reviewed and investigated police misconduct that resulted in prosecution of involved officers, constitutional and civil rights violations, and identified human trafficking victims and/or their traffickers. In February 2019, she became an Assistant State’s Attorney for Baltimore City and gained
extensive trial experience in District Court and Circuit Court for Juvenile Causes and Misdemeanor Jury Trials. As a former prosecutor, she has the knowledge and experience to zealously defend and advocate for individuals charged with a crime to achieve fair and just outcomes within the best interests of the client and justice system.

In her free time, Chelsey enjoys volunteering within the community, being a mentor, traveling and going on adventures with her dog.
